- Wednesdays 12-1:15pm with Angie - Thursdays 12-1:15pm with Jenna - Location: Lake Oakland Public Access, located off Dill Rd in Waterford (will need recreation passport on car/license tag or you can purchase a recreation passport at the boat launch for $11) - Class Cost: $20 to bring your own board, $35 with a rental board - Pre-registration is required as we have limited rental boards available for each class - Wear clothing that you are comfortable practicing in: tank and shorts, bathing suit, etc. *You may get wet!* Take your practice onto the water. Classes begin June 15 and will run through summer. This is an all-levels class! No previous paddling or yoga experience necessary. In this class, your SUP (stand-up paddleboard) becomes your yoga mat. We will show you the basics on how to hold your paddle correctly and how to maneuver on the water. We’ll begin with a short group paddle then drop anchors to keep our “mats” in place. Class will include sun salutations to get warmed up, standing postures, balance poses, restorative/yin poses, a floating savasana and maybe even an inversion or arm balance thrown in! Many poses will be familiar but you will be given instruction on how to modify postures on your board! Come try this fun & playful class!
